“It all begins with an idea; transform medicine, make a difference. In the operating room, as an anesthesiologist, my role was important and personal and I hope that I had a positive impact on my patients’ lives. In venture capital and healthcare innovation, the scale of the potential impact is orders of magnitude greater than my impact as a clinician. Ultimately, the idea that drives me is that we can help so many souls with our work.”
